Starting a business while studying a Masters Degree

Because I never like to make things easy for myself. I have started a Masters Degree, in the middle of a pandemic which apparently most people think should be challenging enough. Nah, I thought why not make myself even busier, and start my own business as my part-time work? That's a great plan. Right?

Apparently, yes. Part time work can be hard to find as a student normally, but now I work a few hours every evening as a tutor. With people now used to remote working and lessons I've been able to take on clients all over Scotland. Working around my own studies and getting to see students ranging from Primary to Degree levels grow in confidence and succeed. Its a lot of work, gathering resources, delivering sessions and thinking on the spot to find new ways to approach problem topics. Actually, it's pretty cool and some days I get a real buzz from seeing something click for a student and know I helped that happen. I have a part time job I genuinely look forward to each day and fits perfectly around my Degree, which is pretty great really.

I should probably get back to my coursework now though, deadlines are looming.
